ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS HISTORICAL SOCIETY 
                              ANNUAL MEETING 
                        MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN 
                               APRIL 23-25, 1998 
 
The EBHS welcomes proposals for panels and for papers on all aspects 
of North American, European, and non-Western economic and business 
history, all time periods. 
 
Please send abstracts of the proposed papers (a maximum of two pages) 
along with the names of presenters, positions, affiliations, phone 
numbers, and E-mail addresses to the address below. 
 
Papers presented at the meeting will be considered for publication in 
_Essays in Economic and Business History_, the Society's proceedings 
edited by Professor William Childs. Papers published in the 
Proceedings are eligible for the Charles J. Kennedy Outstanding Paper 
Award. 
 
The deadline for proposals and abstracts in January 16, 1998. Send
