Dear SHOE List

I am thinking about putting together a volume of reprints of notable
inaugural lectures in economics. Some lectures are self-selecting, such as
Marshall's 'The Present Position of Economics'. I was wondering if the
List has any suggestions as to which lectures should be considered for
inclusion in such a volume and why?

Many thanks in advance.

All the best

Bob
