Greetings colleagues, I have been asked to post the following position for an Archivist at the Bruce County Museum & Archives. The ad is attached in Word on county letterhead and pasted in the body of this message:

Requires an Archivist
for the
Bruce County Museum & Archives
The Corporation of the County of Bruce requires a full-time Archivist for the Bruce County Museum & Archives, located in Southampton, on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preservation of the Bruce County Archives collection, and for the development and maintenance of a records management archival system. The Archivist also assists the Corporation with records retention management.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Degree or diploma in Archival Studies or Records Management from a recognized college or university
· Sound computer skills, particularly with relevant software
At least two years experience working in an archives would be an asset.
