Good morning all... sorry for cross-postings.

I just wanted to pass this along.

It is my understanding that 23 out of 49, or 46%, of "affected" 
librarians will be terminated at LAC once this is over. The comparable 
figures for archivists is 35% out of 54 "affected" positions, or about 
20% of the total number of archivists. An "affected" employee is someone 
who will have to compete for their job against their colleagues. And in 
many cases these colleagues are established, international scholars in 
their field.
