The National Humanities Center is welcoming applications for Fellowships 
for the 1997-98 academic year. For application material, write to

Applicants need to submit the Center's forms supported by a curriculum 
vitae, a 1,000 word project proposal, and three letters of recommendation. 
Applications and letters of recommendation must be postmarked by 15 October 
1996.
