I'm working on a paper concerning the definition of economics - 
and I was thinking this mailing list might be the perfect way to  
collect lots of them. 
Since economics in my view is the study of the economy, I would also  
be very happy receiving definitions of "the economy"  (c.q. the  
economic system, the economic structure, the economic realm, etc).
