Dear members,

As you may have noticed there was a problem with the dates in the
message I sent; here is the new one with the correct ones (at least,
I hope that this time this is correct):

Best Article Award

The History of Economics Society is accepting nominations for its
annual prize for the "Best Article in the History of Economics." The
winner will receive a stipend of $500 plus travel expenses up to $500
to attend the presentation at the 2009 Society's annual conference.

All articles published in 2008 are eligible. Articles in journals
bearing a 2008 date but shipped after Jan 1, 2009 will also be
considered. To nominate an article, contact the 2008-09 chair of the
committee, Alain Marciano, at the address below by December 15, 2008.
Please also send a copy of the article (pdf preferred), except for
papers published in JHET.

The Best Article committe comprises:Harald Hagemann
([log in to unmask]), Mary Morgan ([log in to unmask]), Alain
Marciano (chair) ([log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> ), Ivan Moscati
([log in to unmask]), Masazumi Wakatabe ([log in to unmask]).
