The website for the 2009 History of Economics Conference is finally
live at www.hes-conference2009.com. You will find on the site
information about conference hotels, including reservation codes to
get the conference discount on hotel rooms, as well as links to
information about the University of Colorado Denver campus and things
to do in the Denver and greater Colorado areas.

Registration materials, a preliminary conference program, etc. will
be posted on the website in due course.

Please also note that the call for papers deadline has been extended
for a couple of weeks in order to allow those of you who face funding
uncertainties the time to get a better sense for your ability to
offer a paper at the conference. You can find a link to the abstract
submission site on the main conference web page.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me by email
(<[log in to unmask]>[log in to unmask]) with any questions that
you may have.

Best wishes,

Steve Medema
HES President-Elect
