LOCATION: Mississauga (with regular travel to Toronto)

The Facilities Development Project of the Archives of Ontario requires a
dedicated individual to monitor the container inspection process in support
of the Archival Holdings Relocation. You will: ensure quality control of
the government's new archival holdings database by overseeing the work of
private sector service providers under contract to conduct archival
inspection and data/content verification services for approx. 200,000
containers, and provide ongoing support to the Inspection Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in inventory and physical/intellectual
control of government records, including information indexing and retrieval,
and records/document management controls; working knowledge of database
management tools and processes including MSWord, Excel, Access; demonstrated
communication, group leadership skills.
