Manager, Records and Information Management

The Records and Information Management Manager is a member of the Management
Team and plans, directs and oversees the development, implementation and
operation of the Federation's records management program. 

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
.	Extensive senior level experience in the area of records and
archives management 
.	Strong interpersonal and communication skills
.	Proven supervisory skills
.	Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, best practices,
industry standards, current record keeping technologies and emerging trends.

Role responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to, the following:
developing policies, procedures, tools and employee training, supervising
the work of records management program employees and giving direction to all
staff, monitoring changes in legislation to ensure compliance, and
proactively researching, evaluating and recommending practical solutions for
records and related information management issues.

Preferred qualifications of candidates include:
.	University degree in library/information science, records
management, archival studies, or equivalent (experience and formal training
combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for
academic requirements)
.	Minimum of five years of increasingly progressive professional
records management/archives experience, preferably in a union-related or not
for profit organization
.	Experience in implementing record keeping technologies.

Starting salary is $66,816.  In addition, ETFO offers superior benefits and
allowances.
