Subject: Archives Awareness Week: Call for Submissions

Hello Everyone;

Archives Awareness Week in Ontario is celebrated the first full week of
April and is fast approaching. This year the AAO is drafting a letter to
the Minister of Culture, the Honourable Aileen Carroll, to illustrate
what area archival institutions are doing to mark the occasion. As such,
I am asking for submissions from institutions across Ontario. Please
keep the descriptions of events brief and be sure to include the name of
your institution and a url if you have a relevant webpage. Please
respond to [log in to unmask] by Wednesday 12 March 2008 at 5:00
pm.

A summary of events will also be posted to the both the AAO and ARCAN-L
listservs.

Also, as resources allow, we hope to have a designated section on the
AAO website that will list area institutions who are celebrating and
provide a hyperlink to their site.

Enjoy the weekend!
