Dear all, 

Maxime Desmarais-Tremblay (University of Lausanne) will speak tomorrow, Wednesday, 21 January at the HPPE seminar of LSE's Economic History Department. The title of his paper is: “On the definition of public goods: Assessing Richard A. Musgrave’s contribution”. Please email if you would like to receive a copy of his paper.

The seminar takes place from 1-2:30pm, in room CLM 2.04 and is open to all with an interest in the history of economics.

About Maxime: 
Maxime is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (France). He is currently working as a graduate assistant at the Walras-Pareto Center (Lausanne). His main research interests are in the recent history and the philosophical foundations of the theory of public finance, with a special emphasis on the concept of merit goods.
