History of Economic Thought Society of Australia Conference 
 
10-12 July 1996 
 
 
The ninth conference of the History of Economic Thought Society of 
Australia is to be held at the University of New South Wales on 
10, 11 and 12 July 1996. 
 
Venue and Accomodation 
 
The Conference will be held in Dining Rooms 2, 3 & 4, first 
floor, Square House, UNSW Union (just off Anzac Parade). 
 
Accomodation in single rooms has been arranged at Basser College, 
a two-minute walk from the Conference site. The entry to Basser 
College is through Gate 6, High Street, Kensington. The cost 
(including breakfasts) is $40 per night. The contact person for

For those wishing to arrange their own accomodation, there is a 
wide variety of hotels close to the University. The following may

The Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday 11 July 1996.

Submissions of Papers 
 
Papers from students, as well as from established academics, are 
most welcome. 
 
     Abstracts (of about 250 words) should be received by 12 
     April 1996. 
 
     Authors will be notified of acceptance by Monday 22 April 
     1996 
 
     The full paper should be submitted by Monday 24 June 1996 
 
     If papers are received by Monday 1 July, we will print 
     sufficient copies for distribution. If you cannot make it by 
     this date, please bring along 50 copies.
