1. Sometime ago I remember reading an article by Paul Samuelson in which he  
speculates upon who may have received the nobel prize in economics in the  
early part of the century, if it had been awarded. I now cannot find the  
article. Does anyone have a reference to it? 
 
2. Could any one suggest a source for biographical information on J.H.  
Hollander?
