Greetings fellow subscribers....

I am posting this message on behalf of colleague Ruth Stoner.  She is
asking for recommendations of software to use for a small archives.

Her question is:

The software [she is interested in] is for creating a database catalog
for a small archives consisting of  historical photographs (perhaps
5000) and text files (approximately 12 vertical file drawers) for use
internally by our organization.
