Dear colleagues,
Every spring the Faculty of Information Studies (FIS)
Student Council organizes a Resume Clinic for FIS
students to provide some resume writing tips and
critique from professionals in the field. We are
looking for information professionals to participate as
critiquers in this year’s event.
Resume Clinic will take place on Thursday, February
26th, 2004. From 3pm to 5:30pm we invite information
professionals to critique previously supplied student
resumes for twenty minute intervals. Following this,
dinner will be provided for critiquers and student
volunteers.
The participation of professionals such as yourself has
proven to be hugely influential for students concerned
about employment issues of our intended profession.
This event augments the strong theoretical skills of
our course work with practical knowledge. We would be
most grateful if you would consider participating.
Sincerely,
Shelley Respondek
