The Archives Association of Ontario invites you to attend our 2004
annual
conference to be held on the beautiful campus of Queen's University in
Kingston Ontario, 31 May-2 June 2004. The theme of this year's
conference
is "Access and Privacy" in the archives.

Come and hear noted speakers present on topics ranging from legislative
limitations on access to intellectual methods of expressing access. Our
keynote speakers are guaranteed to provide enlightenment - first,
Senator
Lorna Milne, past sponsor of attempts to ensure that census records
receive
archival protection, and second, Mr. John Reid, the Information
Commissioner
of Canada. These two speakers are just the first of what we expect to
be an
excellent few days of discussions on the topics affecting access to the
archival mileau.

The program of the conference is now available at
http://aao.fis.utoronto.ca/aa/whatsnew.html#conference

Looking forward to seeing you in Kingston
