Oh dear - more Ontario Privacy of Personal Information Act information!

For your information, an informal discussion paper outlining archival concerns with the
proposed Ontario Privacy of Personal Information Act is now available on the AAO web

This discussion paper was part of an information package submitted to the Ministry of
Consumer and Business Services for an August 15 meeting.  The information package also
included sample donation agreements, research agreements, and finding aids.  Please note
that the posted document only addresses concerns that were outstanding as of August 15:
destruction of records, retroactivity, research agreements, private records and
disclosure without consent for archival purposes.
