Apropos of the calendar discussion, the current "crisis", and the
history of economic thought: there are some interesting takes on the
history of thought being bandied about in the media these days.
Schumpter and creative destruction, Keynes and stimulus, and
emendations of and counter positions to Keynes are all very much
in evidence, but they come from partisan theorists and policy wonks,
not from those professing history of thought.

History of Economic Thought is very much alive.
