The Thomas Guggenheim Program in the History of Economic Thought at Ben 
Gurion University of the Negev announces the second bi- annual Prize for 
Outstanding and Original Research in the History of Economic Thought. 
The prize, in the sum of $10,000, will be awarded to a distinguished 
scholar for his\her life's work.

Nomination of candidates should be made by submitting a brief 
description (maximum three pages) of the work of the nominee, and their 
CV to:

The deadline for submissions is June 15th 2011.

A Committee of experts will make the decision by September 1st 2011.
The committee members may also propose candidates of their choice.

The prize will be awarded at BGU in a public lecture to be delivered by 
the winner in December 2011.The Thomas Guggenheim Program in the History 
of Economic Thought operates under the auspices of an International 
Advisory Committee, comprising:
