Regarding the movie based on Dorothy Quick's _Enchantment_:
It is titled _My Mark Twain_, and I certainly enjoyed it.
Twain is played by Jason Robards, and it's hard for me to think of a
more appropriate job of casting Clemens off the top of my head (for
those people looking for a topic, any topic, for this group,
there's one guaranteed to generate some noise). It is based
loosely on the book, with some incidents from other biographies
thrown in, if I recall correctly. The Disney Channel was showing
it three months ago.
It is worth seeing; there are some very good scenes, particularly
those surrounding Jean's death and Sam's reaction. It conveys
that underneath the humor was a very wise and thoughtful man . . .
