(Boston: L. C. Page & Company, 1908)
quotes MT as writing in a letter to Francis
Wilson: "In 'Anne of Green Gables' you
will find the dearest and most moving and
delightful child since the immortal Alice."
Also in file, a page from In The Bookman,
Vol. 28, No. 4, Dec. 1908, in "The
Bookman Advertiser", an add for Anne of
Green Gables which has the same quote.
