   According to an ad in last week's Village Voice, there will be a
program this Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 at Barnes & Noble, 33 E. 17th St., New
York City. It will concern the new edition of Huck Finn, and panelists
will include authors William Styron, Shelby Foote, Justin Kaplan. Stanley
Crouch and Brent Staples. Also, Victor Doyno, President of the Mark Twain
Circle. As luck would have it, I work a mile away, so I'll be there.
