The History of Economics Society welcomes nominations (including 
self-nominations) for the Society's 1996 Best Article Competition. 
 
This year's judging panel consists of Jeff Biddle (chair), Jose Luis 
Cardoso, Gilles Dostaler, Kevin Hoover, Sandra Peart, and Warren Samuels. 
 
All papers published in volume 18 of The Journal of the History of 
Economic Thought or in Volume 12 of Perspectives on the History of 
Economic Thought will be automatically considered. 
 
Papers on the history of economic thought published in other sources 
during 1996 will also be considered if three copies are submitted by April 
1, 1997, to Jeff Biddle, Dept. of Economics, Michigan State University, 
East Lansing, MI 48824. 
 
Entire books and unpublished papers will not be considered.
