Hello, all! Cannot read the current trend in these postings without thinking of "Linotype: The Film," still in production and slated for release in late Fall 2011 <http://linotypefilm.com/>. In the upper right-hand corner of the page, one can click to view the Official Trailer.

This documentary recently came to my attention and would undoubtedly be of great interest to many on the Mark Twain Forum...and beyond. One cannot help but consider the possibilities: The Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, the Mark Twain House (home of "The Beast," aka the Paige Typesetter), the Center for Mark Twain Studies, and the Mark Twain Project could each host a special event with this film as the centerpiece. For those on the Forum with personal typesetting experience, the film should be irresistible.

Pass the popcorn! (But be sure to wash those hands first! :-) )

Regards,

M. L. Christmas
