HES people may like to know that their is now a formal 
 
JAPANESE SOCIETY FOR THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN ECONOMICS 
 
The founding meeting was held in June with 31 attendees 
and two papers, one on Wesley Mitchell and the other on 
big business and American economic thought in the late 19th 
century.  The next meeting will be in Tokyo in June 1996.
