The following manuscript collections and archives have been contributed so
far to the HES homepage (soon to be up and running). I thought that seeing
the list might prompt some others to contribute information about
collections I do not yet have info about. Information aboutthe Manuscript
Collection page and directions for contributions follow the list.

               ABOUT THE MANUSCRIPT COLLECTION PAGE

Information about manuscript collections and other archival sites
of interest to researchers in the history of economics and the
social sciences is provided here, contributed by historians of
economics (in some cases, the information has been checked by the
relevant archivist).

Each manuscript collection has a separate page, accessible from
the MANUSCRIPT COLLECTION page. The INDEX provides cross-references for
individuals and institutions named under the
"Relevant Others" category.

Researchers are reminded that all manuscripts contained in these
collections are protected by copyright. Check with the archivist
regarding the requirements for using any of the material from a
collection in a publication.
