Seeking background info on Mildred Clemens who received acknowledgement for
her assistance with the book: _Mark Twain's Travels with Mr. Brown_
(1940).
Her only other contributions to Twain research seem to be a journal article
that appeared in _Sunset: Pacific Monthly_ in 1917 and a booklet published
in Honolulu in 1935. Which branch of the Clemens family does Mildred come
from? She was listed as Miss Mildred Clemens in the acknowledgement and
other references list her as Mildred Leo Clemens.
And yep, Taylor...Rasmussen's _MT A to Z_ was the best investment I made
this
year for Twain research.
