Thanks so much for this...I have sent an email to Kevin, asking for
whatever background on this guest book he might have--I don't think it's the
Clemens' guest book that Livy kept from Oct. 20, 1877 on sporadically to 1902.
And, I've seen a couple of Sam's other "surveys" of this type, with smartass
answers that endear him to a similar specimen such as yours truly. I don't
have any entry for this date, so will probably use part or all of it and give
you and old Boola-boola Yale bulldogs credit as well. Back in 1963 I lived onCrown Street in N. Haven, about 2 blocks from the campus. A few years ago Ipenned a short story about the rooming house & characters where I lived. I
haven't been back there since '64.
