Culture Shock is an intriguing new series first airing January 26, 2000.
The four-part documentary series tells the story of classic works of art
-- in literature, music, film and painting -- that have engendered
controversy and acclaim. Culture Shock takes us into the heart of the
current debate over the role of arts in society.
The Culture Shock Web site will expand on the issues and events raised in
the film. Features include

An extensive teachers' guide for The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a
literary classic as controversial today as it was on its publication over
100 hundred years ago.

Culture Shock Online, launching January 2000.
