I would recommend the following 2 references:

Holland, J. (1989) CREATIVE COMMUNION: TOWARD A SPRITUALITY OF WORK. New
York: Paulist Press.

Czikszentmihalyi, M. (1990) FLOW: THE PSYCHOLOGY OF OPTIMAL EXPERIENCE.
Harper. (esp. Chapter 7: Work as Flow)

Perhaps you could share with the rest of the list at some point a synopsis
of what you come up with?
