Thanks Terry, this is precisely the detailed info I was looking for. The
link didn't work, but I'll take your word for it. No bubble busted, I just
never recalled seeing that word anywhere else, and as Twain has a great
reputation for having first usages of words in print I thought this one was
a possibility.
