The Forum for History of Human Science (an interest group affiliated with 
the History of Science Society) has just awarded its third annual prize 
for the best recent dissertation in the history of the human sciences. The 
prize went to Richard Weikart, author of "Socialist Darwinism: Evolution 
in German Socialist Thought from Marx to Bernstein" (Department of 
History, University of Iowa).
