Basic Salary: $45,416 at single rate; $48,824 staff member with primary
dependents (per annum net of taxes); Post Adjustment: $13,442 at single

taxes).

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics,
or a related field of study. Master's degree in computer science, business,
or a related field of study.
Experience: Nine years of combined experience in support of end users for
complex computer installations and applications, in the implementation and
maintenance of small to medium size NOVELL networks including maintenance
of LANs and PC systems and in supporting desktop software suites, of which
at least five years includes supervisory experience.
Skills: The incumbent must possess proven management skills, be able to
analyze network and software requirements from a user point of view, and be
able to take action leading to the timely resolution of anticipated or
reported problems. The incumbent works closely with a wide variety of
management, professional, and office workers and must be able to maintain
good working relationships with users without compromising professional
standards.
Languages: Very good knowledge of English with a working knowledge of
Spanish.

Basic Salary: $48,019 at single rate; $51,597 staff member with primary

rate; $32,093 staff member with primary dependents (per annum net of
taxes); Hardship/Mobility: $2,145 at single rate; $2,860 with primary
dependents (per annum net of taxes).

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in pharmacy from a recognized university and
postgraduate training or specialization in drug policies and quality
control, drug regulations, drug supply, drug production and development,
pharmaceutical services, or a related subject.
Experience at national level: Seven years of experience in the
administration of programs and projects related to drug policies and
regulations, drug quality control, drug production and development,
pharmaceutical services, and/or operations research in the pharmaceutical
field.
Experience at international level: Two years of experience in providing
technical assistance in the development, management, operation, or
evaluation of pharmaceutical programs or projects.
Languages: Very good knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese and a working
knowledge of English.

International Human Rights Law Group seeks Field Legal Officer for
Nicaragua
---------------------------------------------------------------------Int
ernational Human Rights Law Group seeks Field Legal Officer, to be based
based in Nicaraguan Atlantic Coast region. Duties include:
coordinating/supervising a legal clinic; designing/conducting training for
lawyers/paralegals; facilitating communication between Atlantic Coast
groups and others; and empowering NGOs' initiatives to strengthen human
rights protection.
Qualifications: lawyers experienced in human rights field work and/or the
provision or management of legal services; political judgment/knowledge of
Latin American political/legal traditions; commitment to capacity building
and democratic development; and fluency in Spanish and English. Salary
Range: $36,000 to 40,000.

PATH Canada announces creation of Net Gain for Africa Task Force
--------------------------------------------------------------------
PATH Canada is pleased to announce that it will house the newly- created
Net Gain for Africa Task Force. The objective of this two-year programme is
to reduce morbidity and mortality from malaria, particularly among women
and children, by increasing the availability of insecticide-treated nets
(ITNs) in sub-Saharan Africa. The task force will develop a reference
center for ITN programming and information dissemination, and will work
with interested organizations to support projects and research designed to
make ITN technology both more sustainable and more affordable. The
initiatives of the Task Force will provide the foundation upon which a Net

PATH Canada annonce l'etablissement du Groupe de travail « Net Gain pour
l'Afrique »

PATH Canada a le plaisir d'annoncer qu'il accueillera le nouveau Groupe de
travail « Net Gain pour l'Afrique ». Le but de ce programme de deux ans est
de reduire la morbidite et la mortalite causees par le paludisme, notamment
chez les femmes et les enfants, en rehaussant la proportion de foyers
d'Afrique sub-saharienne possedant leurs propres moustiquaires et les
traitant regulierement avec un insecticide adequat.
Ce groupe de travail mettra sur pied un centre de reference pour assurer la
diffusion d'informations sur les moustiquaires traitees aux insecticides
(MTI). Il collaborera avec des organisations interesses afin d'elaborer des
strategies novatrices et efficientes pour les programmes des MTI. Ses
initiatives lui permettront de contribuer a rendre la technologie des MTI
plus durable et plus largement disponible, a un prix abordable. Les
initiatives du groupe de travail constitueront l'assise sur laquelle un
