My message about the ALA panel on dialect was obviously intended for an
individual, and not the entire list.  I was so sure that reply was just to
an individual and not to the list.  I truly apologize for any
embarrassment.  I was replying individually (I thought) to those who
applied, then I planned to post the news to the list.  Again, I'm very
sorry for this mistake and breach of etiquette.
