I would recomand - if you haven't seen them yet - a couple of things: a 
paper on Card. Neuman and Senior in HOPE (corrent issue). And interesting 
hints on your topic are also present in Henderson's Book, The Political 
Economy of John Ruskin (Routledge, 2000). (see also 
www.lancs.ac.uk/users/ruskinlib/editions.htm, with the bibliography on 
Ruskin). Personally I have written a paper on economics and interpersonal 
dimension where I discuss Wicksteed's vision (among others): "Ego facing 
Alter: how economists have depicted human relations", Annals of public and 
co-operative economics, 2/2000.
