This post is for a colleague:

Can anyone verify the the identity of the two burglars who broke into the
Redding mansion on Sept. 18, 1908?  One called himself "Henry Williams," and
later wrote a book about his life of crime called In the Clutch of
Circumstance (1922).

(My friend is unable to verify the real names, and I bragged about the vast
stores of knowledge available on this LIST!)

 The first to reply with the correct answer (about which I have no way of
knowing in any case; for all I know it was Bram Stoker) will receive not
just hearty congratulations, but a free glass of Finger Lakes wine at the
upcoming events in Elmira!  CHEERS!
