Gary Scharnhorst, editor of American Literary Realism, who is not a member
of the Mark Twain Forum, asked me to post this call for papers for a special
issue:

Call for Submissions: American Literary Realism will publish a special Mark
Twain issue to honor the memories of Professor Louis J. Budd and Professor
Michael J. Kiskis. Essays may focus on any aspect of Twain's life and
career. Manuscripts should be addressed to the editor:
