Smashwords has announced the publication on Nov. 13 of this year of a new novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Randall Gordon, Jr. "Rating: Not yet rated." You can click on a link that lets you look at sample pages. If you do, you get a title page that says "By Mark Twain" and what look to me like the opening pages of our favorite novel. The frame in which the sample pages appear continues to give the name Randall Gordon. I haven't made an exhaustive comparison, but I think this is, as the title page says, simply Twain's book. This seems to me extremely curious.
