The Isabel Lyon journal entry for Feb. 22, 1906 mentions correspondence
exchanged between SLC and Col. Mann who was an inventor and editor of a
gossip
paper called _Town Topics_. According to the journal entry, the
correspondence
had been discussed by SLC and District Attorney of New York, William Jerome.
Lyon indicated that three newspapers: "Post", "Times" and "Herald" were
eager to reprint the letters. I have been unable to find any reprints of
them in relation to an invention SLC was involved in or did they relate to
a gossip item?
