Training Program in International Health
--------------------------------------------------------
The Canadian Society for International Health is pleased
to announce this year's Pan American Health
Organization's Training Program in International
Health. The Program is oriented towards health
professionals living in the Americas, who show
leadership and interest in delving more deeply into the
international dimensions of health. The training process
is based on the participants becoming involved in the
work of PAHO through a work-study format for a period of
eleven months starting in January. Basic requirements
are: age limit of 35, Master's degree in public health
or equivalent, minimum of two years' experience, and
Spanish/English.

Participants in the Program receive a stipend to cover
their basic living expenses and financial support for
settling in (travel and moving expenses).  To obtain an

Programa de Formacion en Salud Internacional.
--------------------------------------------------------
La Sociedad Canadiense para la Salud Internacional,
tiene el placer de comunicar, el Programa annual de
Formacion en Salud Internacional de la Organizacion
Panamericana de la Salud. El Programa va dirigido a los
profesionales de la salud que viven en las Americas,
quienes muestren liderazgo e interes en profundizarse en
el campo internacional de la salud. La metodologea del
entrenamiento estare basada en la involucracien de los
participantes en el trabajo de la OPS, a traves de un
formato de trabajo-estudio, por un periodo de once
meses, empezando en Enero. Los requerimientos basicos
son: edad limite de 35 anos, Maestria en Salud Publica o
un equivalente, un minimo de dos anos de experiencia y
conocimiento del espanol y del ingles.

Los participantes del Programa recibiran una beca para
cubrir las necesidades basicas y el apoyo financiero
para su instalacion (gastos de transporte y
accomodacion).
