Last Saturday/Sunday's edition of Studio 360 on National Public Radio
included a "road trip" from New York to Hartford to visit the Twain home.
Although the segment with the actual visit was only about 10 minutes long,
Twain was mentioned as a precursor of stand-up comedy and an experienced
traveler throughout the show.
I believe one can listen to it my logging on the
http://www.wnyc.org/studio360/ then click on show archive at the top of the
screen. Under "Twain, Road, Salvation" you can click onto audible.com to
download the audio from the show ---costs $2.95 (less if you want to become
a member.)
