Dear Colleagues,
Just when you thought that there was nothing to do in January but hit the
sales, (or maybe, hit the scales!), along comes another great TAAG event to
cheer your archival spirits.
Join us on Thursday January 22nd, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for a Guided tour of
Preservation and Digitization Services and Special Collections in the
Baldwin Room at the Toronto Reference Library. And if this were not exciting
enough, we will also be treated to an illustrated talk about the development
of the brand new Ontario History Quest resource. Check it out at:
<http://ohqdigit.tpl.toronto.on.ca/>
The Toronto Reference Library is very conveniently located at 789 Yonge
Street, at Asquith Avenue, just north of Bloor Street. Meet us in the
Library lobby at 5:30 pm sharp and we will begin with some light
refreshments provided courtesy of TAAG, and then our tour will start.
Please RSVP for the Toronto Reference Library tour by Friday Jan. 16th. This
tour is limited to 30 members, and the list is filling up quickly! RSVP to
Ian Fleming at (416) 967-9622, ext. 225, or by e-mail at: [log in to unmask]
Hope to see you there!
