Greetings,
I am a new subscriber with a query:
One of my students is writing a paper on Twain and the deaf community.
He is finding out some wonderful information about Twain's interest in the
deaf. The student began with our reading of Huck where there are several
notable instances. We also know of Injun Joe in Tom Sawyer. Do any of you
know any other instances of Deaf persons appearing or being mimiced or
referred to in any of Twain's other works?
