The Kingston General Hospital Archives seeks an Archival Assistant to
participate in our Administrative Records Management and Archives Program
The individual will create a file level descriptive record of the senior
hospital administration fonds (1950-1985) in accordance with the Rules
for Archival Description and enter the data into a DB/Textworks database
application.
Site of the project is Queen's University Archives where the records are
physically housed. The position, as funded by the Canadian Council of
Archives, will be for 9 weeks with a possible three week extension to be
funded by the Hospital for an additional project. Remuneration is $11.50
per hour for a 35 hour week.
Preferred education and experience is 1 year of an accredited archival
program at the community college or university level.
