Conference Information 
 
The International Association for Feminist Economics will be holding its 
annual conference at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, June 17 to 19, 
1999.  We welcome papers, roundtables or panel discussions on all topics 
relating to feminist economic research or gender and economics. Sessions 
are 
already being planned on: 
        Beijing plus five: implementing the platform for action 
        Women in Cuba 
        Qualitative methodologies and new data needs 
        Sex and bodies, race and gender in economic life 
        Feminist environmental economics. 
 
If you would like to come, please complete the attached registration form 
and (if you would like to present a paper) a description of your 
presentation. 
 
IAFFE is keen to be able to offer sponsorship to academics from qualifying 
countries who are presenting papers of high standard, and wishes to ensure 
that everyone knows in good time what is required to obtain such funding.
