GERALD R. FORD LIBRARY TRAVEL GRANTS 
 
The Gerald R. Ford Foundation semi-annually awards travel grants of up to 
$2000 in support of significant research in Gerald R. Ford Library 
collections.  Collections focus on US federal policies, institutions, and 
politics in the 1970s.  Processed archival collections contain materials 
on inflation, the federal budget, the Economic Policy Board, international 
economic summits, international monetary system reform, trade, 
macroeconomics, monetary policy, wage-price controls, and tax reform. 
Major economic collections include the papers of Federal Reserve Board 
chairman Arthur Burns, the records of the Council of Economic Advisers, 
the files of Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs L. William 
Seidman, and a microfice copy of the papers of Treasury Secretary William 
Simon.  Grant application postmark deadlines are September 15 and March 
15.
