There is a 'ceteris paribus' entry by J.P. Piimies and U. Maeki in the 
Handbook of Economic Methodology (1998). Both authors have been (and are) 
working on this theme. Piimies insists on going back to the School of 
Salamanca or even mediaeval economic thinkers such as Peter John Olivi.
