I am very pleased to announce that Daphne Gaby Donaldson has been appointed as the new Director of Corporate Records, Archives, Printing and Distribution for the City of Toronto.  Daphne brings many years of municipal experience to this position and is familiar with corporate-based systems and projects.  Prior to amalgamation, she was the Director of Protocol in the former municipality of  Metropolitan Toronto and continued in this capacity in the newly-amalgamated City of Toronto.  In June 2004 she accepted the role as Acting Director of the Records and Archives program and has been active in several large information management initiatives including  a Corporate document management project, developing policies for managing electronic records, and improving the service delivery model for the Records and Archives program. Her leadership skills and practices will be great assets in shaping the development and implementation of  the City's information management programs in the coming years.
