sociologist.   
 
Incidentally, they all seem to be right, economists and sociologists.  
There is this song, by a late Brazilian musician, Raul Seixas, that says  
something like this:   
 
' I'd rather be this walking metamorphosis 
Than holding that old closed opinion about everything.'
